Ottertail Central and Parkers Prairie split a baseball double header on Tuesday with OTC taking game one, 9-5, and the Panthers winning game two, 11-1.

Kayne Cameron (7IP, 5R, 9H, 4K) went the distance to gain the win in the first game.  “Kayne is really nice to have on the bump for us,” said Head Coach Ryan Hendrickson of the Bulldogs.  “He pumps strikes to keep our defense in the game and today we gave him some offensive support while showing some power with the bats.  We are coming around for sure.”

Jayden Harig and Cameron led the offensive attack with 3 hits apiece.  Cameron and Owen Buehler had doubles for the Bulldogs, who collected a total of 14 hits.  Gavin Pausch, Wyatt Severson and Cian Buehler each managed two hits in the game.

Wyatt Murray and Brendan Johnson had two hits apiece to lead the Panthers who finished with nine hits in the contest.

In the second game, Florian Koep drove in a run in the first inning for Parkers Prairie and the Panthers scored five times in the fourth on hits by Koep, Dylan Debilzen, Brock Peterson and Murray.  Koep and David Revering each had multiple hits for Parkers Prairie.  The Panthers played errorless ball behind winning pitcher Brendan Johnson (2IP, 1H, 1R, 1K).

Top hitters for OTC were Owen Buehler, Severson and Pausch with one hit each.
