The Comets had their best hitting game of the season cranking out 16 hits as a team in the win. Hillcrest was led again by Lindgren and Zayne Weinrich with 3 hits each.  Zayne scored 3 runs for the comets.  Weinrich and Lindgren both had a double and triple as well on the day.  

"It was a great team win," said Head Coach Dave Weinrich of Hillcrest.  "The guys battle hard all game and came up with some huge hits." 

5 Comets had 2 hits a piece and they were Micah Demmers, Nate Bermel, Micah Bermel, Wilson McArton and Doulton Roise. 

"So proud of everyone of these guys," added Coach Weinrich. "They continued to improve all year and it finally paid off. " 

Micah Bermel got the win on the mound for the Comets.  Micah pitched a solid 6 innings in relief of his brother Nate who pitched two good innings for Hillcrest.   Wilson McArton and Doulton Roise had their best games of the year for Hillcrest which was a huge part of this win.
