The Fergus Falls girls’ track and field team hosted a quadrangular on Friday with teams from Rocori, Sauk Rapids and Sartell participating. Rocori took first place with 99 points and the Otters were second with 57. The meet results will be submitted for the Virtual True Team meet.
“Emily Nuss ran a commanding race in the 1600 and had season bests in the 300 hurdles and the triple jump, along with a photo finish in the anchor spot on the 4 x 4 relay,” stated Fergus Falls Head Coach Niki Welde. “Ainsley Hansen stepped up to win the long jump with a season best and had a strong win in the high jump. Svea Smestad again won both the shot and discus and MaKayla Huus had a strong win in the pole vault.”
