Bulldog Girls Win Quad Country Conference Meet at Long Prairie

Ottertail Central took first place at the Quad County Conference Girls’ Golf Meet Thursday at the Long Prairie Country Club, recording a score of 292.  Hillcrest Lutheran Academy was second with a 327.  Ady Tysdal of OTC was the medalist with a 90 and Audra Ewan of Hillcrest was second with a 98.

Third place went to Megan Weber of the Bulldogs with a 99.  Amber Frigaard of Underwood was fourth with a 100, Annie Claney of Hillcrest followed with a 101 and sixth place went to Makena Kenyon of OTC with a 103.

"Our two girls, Amber Frigaard and Maddie Hoen, played really well today on a course that's not that easy,” stated Underwood Head Coach Chuck Ross.  “Both had their personal best scores today with Amber placing fourth and Maddie just one stroke out from placing 6th.”

Hoen shot a 104 for the Rockets.  Hillcrest golfer Bri Lang came in with a 128.  Other OTC scores included a 113 from Madi Ness and a 134 from Janie Lhotek.  Pillager golfers Kimberly Keefe and Natalie Birr recorded rounds of 111 and 153, respectively.
