Parkers Prairie jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning against Brandon-Evansville on Monday and then expanded their lead with 4 runs in the second, 3 in the third, 2 in the fourth and 3 in the fifth to close out the Chargers 15-3 in five innings.

B-E Head Coach Kasi Sieling said, “Parkers Prairie came out tonight and hit the ball really well and we just didn’t make the plays we needed to keep them off the bases.  We struggled to get things going offensively to really make a push and come back from the hole we had dug.  They are a very tough team and we will learn from this loss, work hard in practice and move on from it.”

Brandon-Evansville was led by Sydney Schaefer (3-3), Bailey Schaefer (1-2), Kaytlyn Pattrin (1-2, R) and Taylin Kramer (2-2, R, RBI).

No Parkers Prairie stats were reported.
