“In our first game we couldn’t come back from an early CGB lead, though we fought hard,” stated Ashby Head Coach Autumn Flickinger.

Madison Bestul took the loss, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits, but recording 7 strikeouts.  Offensively, Ryleigh Brendmoen went 2-for-3 at the plate.

The Arrows fell behind early in game two and their bats were quiet as Bestul, Kate Jensen and Anna Thormodson each collected one hit.  “CGB had their bats hot right out of the game and the game ended early by the 15 run rule,” commented Coach Flickinger.
