“All signs are pointing up for the Otters,” said Truax.  “Aggressive bats and experienced defense return this year and continue to build the program.  Our fingers are crossed for a full season, COVID free.  COVID quarantine protocols could cause issues for game time lineups.”

Seniors Lacy Strom (C) and Ashlyn Eckhoff (OF), juniors Gabby Brimhall (IF) and Elizabeth Moxness (IF), and freshman Rylynn Krein (IF, OF) are returning letter winners.

Juniors Tori Ratz (IF), Kacey Fredrickson (IF, OF), Kellen Frigaard (IF) and freshman Karyssa Eberle (IF, OF) will be looking to crack the varsity lineup.

Brimhall, Moxness and Ratz will serve as captains for the Otters.

Sabrina Noon (Varsity Assistant), Sheri Smith (JV Coach), Jamie Lill (B Team Coach), Kari Krein (Volunteer Coach) and Erin Warren (Volunteer Coach) will assist Coach Truax.

Truax says Thief River Falls and DGF are the top teams in Section 8AA, while Rocori, Sartell and Brainerd will be the teams to beat in the Central Lakes Conference.
