Hancock's Thompson Earns Pheasant MVP Honors, WCA Coach Hunter is Coach of the Year

Hancock and West Central Area shared the Pheasant Conference boys’ basketball championship during the 2020-2021 season with 11-1 conference records.  The Owls went on to finish as runners-up in Class A State Tournament playing, losing in the title game to Hayfield, 61-60.  Their outstanding junior forward, Matt Thompson, was named Pheasant Conference MVP, while WCA Head Coach Kraig Hunter was the Pheasant Conference Coach of the Year.  Here is the All-Conference Boys Basketball Team, listed by school.
