“It was a lot of fun to play in front of a decent crowd with a playoff atmosphere,” commented Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “We struggled against the LPA zone as a whole, but Tyson Misegades carried us in the first as he got it going from deep. Tyson made eight triples in first half, including one at the halftime buzzer. That gave us a lot of momentum going into the locker room. In the second half, we had better balance on the offensive end with a number of guys contributing.”
Mason Hammer and Tanner Arndt joined Misegades in double figures with 16 and 10 points, respectively. Joe Angell had a team high 9 rebounds and Hammer added 6. Arndt distributed 8 assists for the Hornets.
“We are excited for the challenge to play a great New York Mills team for the third time on Saturday night,” said Coach Misegades.
Henning (14-5) will face a 16-2 New York Mills team that has won 12 straight games at 7:00pm Saturday in New York Mills.
