The Henning Hornets shot 49% (26-53) from the field on Tuesday night as they built a 30-21 halftime lead on the way to a 59-54 victory over Pillager.

“We had a great effort tonight from our entire team,” stated Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “It was great to see our guys play so hard for 36 minutes. Pillager made several runs, but we responded each time. We had great scoring balance which was nice to see.”

Tyson Misegades (16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 assists), Mason Hammer (14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals) and Tanner Arndt, (12 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds, 4 steals) all had solid stat lines to lead the Hornets.  Joe Angell chipped in with 8 points and 5 boards.

Henning (9-4) has a road game at Sebeka on Friday and returns home to host Parkers Prairie on Saturday afternoon.
