Lady Owls Win 14th Straight

Hancock hosted Minnewaska Area in a high school girls’ basketball game on Tuesday night and the lady Owls shot 53% (25-47) on the way to a 64-43 win over the Lakers.  Hancock made 6-of-9 from beyond the arc and added 9-of-12 free throws.

Carlee Hanson paced the home team with 20 points and 5 rebounds.  Tori Pahl added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.  Kaitlyn Staples had a team high 5 assists and Rylee Hanson had 9 points, 3 assists and 2 steals.  Alexis Staples contributed 7 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

Minnewaska Area was held to 36% (14-39) shooting.

Hancock (14-0) will play at Morris on Thursday night.
