Liz Lukken (25 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals) led the Rockets.  Brooke Hovland added 5 points and a team high 10 rebounds, while Josey Bugbee contributed 5 points and 8 boards.

“West Central’s defense forced us into some poor shots, and we didn’t shoot well from the free throw line,” reported Underwood Head Coach Brian Hovland. “We didn’t turn the ball over a lot but when we did they made us pay.  We have to get back to work and get ready for our last 4 games. This group can do some great things but we will need to bring a little better work ethic to practice.”

Underwood (11-3) will host Hillcrest on Friday night.

West Central Area (9-4) will host Rothsay on Tuesday and play a road game against Brandon-Evansville on Thursday.
