Mackenzie Foss, senior at Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend M State where she will play volleyball, basketball and softball for the Spartans beginning next fall.

Mackenzie is a Defensive Specialist in volleyball and in her junior year she surpassed the 1,000 dig mark. “Mackenzie is a great athlete who works hard, is enthusiastic and is eager to learn,” said head volleyball coach Abby Crowser. “I’m so glad she has made the decision to continue on with her athletic career at M State College. She will be a great addition to our 2021 roster.”

Softball Coach Steve King commented, “Obviously we are very excited that Mackenzie will be playing softball for us spring of 2022. She will definitely help move the program forward. Mackenzie is the type of student athletes that we need and she will definitely be a great addition to Lady Spartan athletics!”

Foss also went past the 1,000 career point mark for the Hillcrest girls’ basketball team this season and will join the lady Spartans for the winter of 2021-22.

“Mackenzie is the type of athlete that every coach wants in their program!” said Lady Spartans Head Coach Jodi Holleman.  “She will be an immediate impact player with her ability to drive to the basket, ability to see the entire floor, and excellent perimeter shooting.  She plays with a lot of heart, determination, and confidence.  I am extremely excited to add Mackenzie to our Spartan WBB Roster!”
