“We played a good first half, but trailed by 6 at the half, 23-29,” reported Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso.  “The Eagles came out of the locker room with an impressive run and quickly extended the lead to 18 points.  We would never recover.  The strong post play from the Eagles was just too much for us.”

The Eagles were led in scoring by Kali Olson with 14 points.  Bella Bauck also contributed 12 points on 4 three point baskets.

Leading scorers for the Battlers were Grace VanErp with 24 points and Ady Tysdal with 16.

Battle Lake (5-8) will host Parkers Prairie on Tuesday.

New York Mills (9-4) will be at home to Menahga on Tuesday night.
