The Fergus Falls girls’ basketball game recorded their sixth win in a row as they cruised to a 69-28 win at St. Cloud Tech on Tuesday night.  The Otters led 35-14 at the half and won the rebounding battle 39-29.  Fergus Falls shot 42% (25-60) from the field and made 11-of-31 3’s.

“We weren’t as crisp as we wanted to be to start the game,” said Fergus Falls Head Coach Brad Strand.  “We improved our intensity and our focus in the second half.  We had ten different girls score points and any time you can do that it’s a good thing.”

Tori Ratz had a big night for the Otters with 19 points, including 5 3’s, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.  Ellie Colbeck added 14 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals.  Logan Strom scored 11 points, making a trio of 3-pointers, Hannah Polejewski had 7 points and 5 boards, Anna Anderson finished with 3 points and 7 rebounds, and Emily Nuss dished out 4 assists.

The Otters (9-3) will play at Moorhead on Thursday night.

Fergus Falls won the JV game 47-36 with Karley Braeger scoring 13 points.
