Fergus Falls Boys Win at Rocori

The Fergus Falls boys' basketball team bounced back after their Tuesday night loss to Detroit Lakes, taking a 64-54 Central Lakes Conference road win from Rocori on Thursday night.  The Otters led 31-22 at the half.

Rocori went on a 7-0 run to take their first lead of the night at 15-13 in the first half.  The Otters answered with an 18-3 run, giving them a 31-18 advantage.  The Spartans then scored 16 of the next 20 points, cutting the lead to one at 35-34, however, the Otters then went on an 11-0 run, taking a 46-34 lead on the way to a 64-54 victory.

Dom Aguilar led the way with 22 points, including 4 3's and 4-of-4 from the foul line.  He also distributed 5 assists.  Abel Aho added 16 points and 6 rebounds, connecting on 3 shots from beyond the arc.  Kaden Conklin was also in double digits with 14 points.  Austin Rinke contributed 7 points and 10 rebounds and Elliot Pribbenow had 5 points and 6 boards.

Fergus Falls held a 32-20 edge on the boards and made 14-of-20 free throws on the night.

Rocori was led by Jaden Phillippi with 18 and Luke Humbert with 8 points and 6 rebounds.

Fergus Falls (6-3) will host St. Cloud Apollo on Tuesday night.
