“We got off to a good start tonight and hit some shots early,” commented Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Head Coach Jordon Roos. “We started turning the ball over and gave up some offensive rebounds towards the end of the first half which helped Hancock take the lead. We played hard to keep their lead where it was, but we were not able to make a run to get back into the game.”
Clint Determan (17 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals), Andrew Walker-Hanneman (17 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists), Dylan Bainbridge (11 points, 4 assists) and Bryant Callenius (4 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals) led the Warriors.
No Hancock stats were reported.
The Owls (3-0) will travel to Barrett next Thursday to face the West Central Area Knights.
The Warriors (1-1) will host Ortonville on Thursday night in Wheaton.
