Menahga Remains Unbeaten with Win Over Wolverines

Janie Tormanen scored 12 of her game high 17 points in the first half as the Menahga Braves built a 29-11 halftime lead on the way to a 41-21 victory over Wadena-Deer Creek on Tuesday night.

Martha Peterson was also in double digits with twelve points and Maryn Pinoniemi contributed 8 points for the Braves.

Madison Carsten led the Wolverines with 8 points.

Menahga (3-0) will host Pillager on Friday, while Wadena-Deer Creek (1-2) travels to Sebeka on Friday night.
