Monster Game From Schultz Leads Lady Warriors to Victory

Wheaton/Herman-Norcross led 29-21 at halftime and went on to defeat Sisseton 50-41 in a high school girls’ basketball contest on Tuesday night.

Brylie Schultz had a monster game with 16 points, 23 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.  Ellissa Rinke had 11 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists.  Izzy Schmidt finished with7 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.  The Warriors held a 52-34 edge on the boards.

Sisseton featured a balanced attack with Em Nielson and Chloe Langager each scoring 9 points, while Avery DeSpeigler and Reagan Janssen scored 8 points apiece.  Langager pulled down a team high 15 rebounds.

The Warriors (1-1) will host Battle Lake on Thursday night.
