Wolverines Hold Bears to 30 Points in 65-30 Victory

Madison Carsten scored a game high 23 points on Saturday to lead the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines to a 65-30 win over Bertha-Hewitt.  Lauryn Gravelle added 7 points and Nevada Schulz and Cora Endres contributed 6 points each.

The Wolverines made 70% (7-10) of their free throw attempts and buried six 3’s from five different players.

Mya Sawyer led the Bears with 11 points.

Wadena-Deer Creek (1-1) will host Menahga on Tuesday, while Bertha-Hewitt (0-2) hosts New York Mills that same night.
