Kenadi Carlsrud led Rothsay with 23 points. She was joined in double digits by Abby Honer and Grace Lider with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
“This was a great game to get our season started,” commented Rothsay Head Coach Anita Heier. “We played several different defenses and offenses. We are still trying to learn about our team and find what works best for us. I’m so proud of these girls and their willingness to try new things. Our main goal this year is to enjoy every moment we get together and have fun. They definitely did that today.”
Rothsay will host Ashby on Tuesday night and will play at Brandon-Evansville on Thursday.
