Chad Suter is in his second year as Head Coach of the Barnesville Boys’ Basketball team.  The Trojans bring back three starters from their 17-10 team of a year ago, however, they lost Hunter Zenzen (playing football at Iowa State), Blake Torfin and Matt Samuelson to graduation.

“The kids are excited to get started,” shared Suter.  “Our defense was outstanding last season, but we need to get our kids high percentage scoring opportunities this year.”

Senior Adam Tonsfeldt (Guard) and juniors Kaden Zenzen (Post) and Jack Neilsen (Guard) are all back.  They will be joined by juniors Logan Ernst (Guard), Noah Krause (Wing), Peyton Pauna (Guard), Ryan Rustad (Wing) and Cam Heng (Wing), and sophomore Tate Inniger (Winig).  Tonsfeldt and Eric Ackerson will serve as team captains.
Tracy Hinsz and Dion Bredman will assist Coach Suter.

Suter has Perham and Pelican Rapids as the top teams in the Heart O’ Lakes Conference, with the Yellowjackets and Fergus Falls as the teams to beat in Section 8AA.
