The New York Mills boys’ basketball team finished last season with a 15-11 overall record and a 9-5 mark in the Park Region Conference.  The Eagles return all five starters from that team, making for much optimism entering the 2020-2021 campaign.

“With all five of our starters coming back we feel we can make a push in both our conference and Section 6A,” said fourth year Head coach Jason Boe.

Junior guards Tate Olson and Jonah Johnson were both All-Conference selections as sophomores, and senior guard Derin Gaudette was an Honorable Mention All-Conference choice.  They are joined by junior guard Breck Hensch and senior post Isaiah Laudenbach as returning starters.

Other players back include seniors Cale Rudolph (Guard), Nolan Cassidy (Post), Chase Keskitalo (Post), Jace Rudolph (Guard) and Trey Gilster (Guard), and junior Noah Noffsinger (Guard).

Boe, who will be assisted by Josh Hendrickx and Austin Maneval, sees Henning and Pillager as the top teams in the Park Region Conference, with Norman County East, Mahnomen-Waubun and Henning the favorites in Section 6A.
