Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley senior Nate Moberg is a three-sport athlete for the Wolverines, participating in football, basketball and baseball.  He is also active in Trapshooting, Student Council, NHS, FCCLA and Knowledge Bowl.

Boys Basketball Coach Rick Gilsdorf shared this thought about Moberg, “I really can’t say enough about Nate.  He is a returning captain and a 4-year starter for us.  He runs the team on offense as our starting point guard and we rely on him to match up with the best ball handler on defense.  Nate is just a great competitor and plays and practices with great effort and attitude.  He is our leader!”

Moberg’s favorite quote is from George ‘Papa Bear’ Halas who said, “Nobody who ever gave his best regretted it.”

“My favorite sports memory was beating Ortonville in basketball and making a half court buzzer beater,” said Moberg.

Moberg plans on going to college, getting a job and then farming after that.  His major will be Agronomy.  His favorite high school classes are shop and gym class.

“Being in sports has taught me how to be a leader and how to help others reach their goals,” added Moberg.
