“The loss of Kalista Aamot (M State-Fergus Falls) and Courtney Koefod (Condordia) will leave us with a few gaps to fill both offensively and defensively,” said Nelson. “Our six letter winners offer a mixed bag of varsity experience. This team should be quick and we are hoping to get up and down the floor. We need to improve our defensive concepts and effort as well as rebounding fundamentals.”
Seniors McKenna Williams (Guard), Cailey Schlosser (Forward) and Madeline Thompson (Forward), are joined by juniors Celi Nelson (Guard), Catherine Koefod (Guard) and sophomore Ryleigh Brendmoen (Forward) as returning letter winners.
Junior Kyra Aamot (Forward) and sophomore Livy Johnson (Forward) will also be competing for varsity playing time.
Nelson sees Underwood, Brandon-Evansville and Parkers Prairie as the top teams in the competitive Little Eight Conference.
