“Once again we came out strong and won the first set,” said Hillcrest Head Coach Debi Foss.  “We had a slow start in the second set going down 0-6 but fought our way back but still came up short. Our middles did a great job for us tonight and our blocking was better.  Our outside hitters struggled to get around their block and as a team we had moments when we just were not ready to pass the ball.  We’ve got to figure out how to get the win!  We’ll take the long weekend to give our players some much needed rest and come back ready for three matches next week.   We play in Ashby on Tuesday, Park Christian on Thursday, and in Wheaton on Thursday.”
