“This was a fun game for us, mainly because the Tigers played in unison with hustle and heart,” stated Head Coach John Reber of Rothsay. “Lilly Wheelright (4 kills) and Madison Tillman (2 kills, 7 digs) had a great game, combining smart swings with heads-up play at the net. Our passing game, led by Summer Wigdahl (7 digs, 2 aces) was superb, taking care of some challenging serves and tricky attacks Ortonville was sending our way. Kenadi Carslrud (3 aces, 10 kills, 2 blocks) and Grace Lider (1 aces, 7 kills, 1 block) were powerful at the net and the serving line. Chase Balken (7 assists, 1 block) and Elli Meyer (12 assists, 10 digs) did a great job on both set selection and defense. Great effort all around by the Tigers.”
Rothsay has a Little Eight Conference road match in Parkers Prairie on Thursday.
