Fetting Scores 4 TDs as Ada-Borup Defeats Underwood 34-8

Beau Fetting ran for 196 yards and four touchdowns on Friday night, leading Ada-Borup to a 34-8 victory over Underwood. 

Fetting got the scoring started with 1:15 left in the first quarter when he broke free for a 27-yard TD run, giving the Cougars a 6-0 lead.  His second TD came as time expired in the second quarter, from 13 yards out, giving Ada-Borup a halftime lead of 12-0.

Krosby Aasness ran the ball in from 14 yards out with 4:56 remaining in the third quarter and then scored on the two-point conversion run, cutting the Ada-Borup lead to 12-8.  With 11 seconds left in the quarter Cameron Spaeth ran 38 yards for a touchdown and Ada-Borup led 20-8 after a two-point conversion pass from Aiden Marcussen to Evan DeVos.

The Cougars salted the game away with a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns by Fetting, the first on a 65 yard run with 10:16 left in the game and the second on a 20 yard run.  Marucssen connected with Hunter Sanchez for the two-point conversion after the final TD.

Ada-Borup finished with 290 yards and Underwood had 142, all on the ground.  The Rockets turned the ball over twice and the Cougars had zero turnovers on the night.  Spaeth ran for 73 yards on 14 carries for the Cougars.

Aasness had 100 yards rushing on 13 carries to lead the Rockets.  Defensively, Slade Moore registered 7 tackles, including a sack.  Tristen Evavold had 4 tackles, while Joey Kupfer and Jaxon Rich each recorded a sack.

Underwood (1-3) will host Pelican Rapids on Friday night, November 6, at 6:00pm.
