Fergus Falls cut the lead to 7-6 when Dominic Aguilar hooked up with Abel Aho on a 4-yard scoring toss in the second quarter. The Otters failed to convert on their two-point try.
Fergus Falls ran for 197 yards and had 38 yards passing for a total of 235 yards on the night. Aguilar completed 1-of-4 passes for 4 yards and a touchdown. Andrew Johnson was 3-for-7 for 34 yards and also ran for 54 yards on 11 carries. Landon Thacker led the Otters with 65 yards on 14 carries, Cole Zierden carried the ball 11 times for 44 yards and Aho had 3 rushing attempts for 26 yards. He also had 3 receptions for 25 yards. Zierden caught one pass for 13 yards.
Defensive leaders were Jack Uhrich with 7 solo tackles, Thacker with 6 tackles (4 solo, 2 assisted) and Kaden Hartwell with 4 solo tackles and a fumble recovery.
