The Perham Cross Country teams held their 2 mile time trial on Saturday and Coach Jeff Morris was pleased with what he saw, saying, “What an amazing day! It was super hot and ultra humid.  I am blown away by the runners and their resilience and mental toughness.”

The boys’ race winner was Jakob McCleary (11:02) and Mya Morris (13:49) won the girls’ race.

The biggest drop in the entire field form last year was Courtney Frohling (-2:17).  Adison Wientjes (-2:08) and Josh Kalina (-1:56) followed.

“We did an amazing job with runners masking up for our first race and social distancing in the extreme humidity,” noted Morris.  “Parents, you rocked the social distancing and staying away from the start and finish.”
