Fergus Falls scored single runs in the second and third innings to take a 2-0 lead.  Sean McGuire singled to lead off the second inning and stole second base.  After moving to third on a sacrifice bunt by Pete Gaustad, McGuire scored the first run of the ballgame on a ground out by Dan Revering.  Jack Hiedeman led off the third with a base hit and then scored on a double by Thomas Bosek.

The Hurricanes scored two more runs in the fourth inning.  McGuire and Gaustad singled to start the inning.  A Revering single knocked in McGuire and Gaustad scored on a double play grounder.

Long Prairie pushed across all three of their runs in the fifth inning.  Zack Miller led off with a single and scored on a double by Mitch Hied.  A Tim Zastrow double brought Hied home.  A single by Duane Miller advanced Zastrow to third base and a sacrifice fly by Kyle Petermeier scored Zastrow.

Fergus Falls was led at the plate by Tosten Mann (2-4, 2B), McGuire (2-4, 2R, SB) and Revering (1-3, 2RBI).

Eric Salveson (5IP, 3K, 1BB, 6H, 3ER) was the winning pitcher.  Darin Stanislawski (4IP, 6K, 2BB, 2H, 0R) earned the save.
