Moorhead scored their run in the top of the third on a sacrifice fly from Toby Sayles scoring Ty Severson who had led off the inning with a single and moved around to third base on a walk to Mason Penske and a single by Ben Swanson.
Three more Fergus Falls runs in the bottom of the fourth completed the scoring. Gaustad led off with a single and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Hensch.
