A Great Father-Son Baseball Memory

I have a lot of fun memories at the Twins games over the years, including my first game when I was eight years old and seeing my favorite player, Bob Allison hit a home run.  My favorite memory is taking my son Joe to his first game on his 9th birthday.

The Twins were playing the Pirates and we were sitting in the upper deck on the 3rd base side.  Joe didn't think we had a chance for a foul ball where we were sitting but I told him there is always a chance. Sure enough half way through the game Brent Gates hit a foul ball right to Joe. He was so excited.  I have been to dozens of Twins games and never even came close to a foul ball and my son gets one at his first game.  What a great night.

Thanks for sharing that memory Kenny!  I would like to invite each of you to share your favorite baseball memory with the visitors to my website.  Please send your story to me at cosports@prtel.com.
