Henning Boys Basketball Awards

The Henning boys’ basketball team has handed out their post season awards for the 2019-2020 season.  The Hornets successfully defended their Section 6A championship, however, were not allowed to participate in the Class A State Tournament as that event was canceled due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.  The Hornets finished their season with a record of 29-1.

Here are the award winners:

Most Valuable Players – Isaac Fisher, Parker Fraki, Blake Wallevand
Most Improved – Luke Bjorklund, Blaine Wallevand
Jacob Quam Attitude & Effort Award – Jackson Nyhus, Brandon Trana
Chairman of the Boards – Parker Fraki
Hustling Hornet – Isaac Fisher
Lunch Pail Award – Parker Fraki, Blake Wallevand

Park Region All-Conference – Isaac Fisher, Parker Fraki, Blaine Wallevand, Blake Wallevand
Park Region Conference Honorable Mention – Lee Bjorklund
Park Region Conference Most Valuable Player – Blake Wallevand
Minnesota Boys BB Coaches Association Academic All- State – Isaac Fisher, Parker Fraki, Blake Wallevand

Assist Leader – Parker Fraki
Leading Free Throw Percentage – Lee Bjorklund
Leading Field Goal Percentage – Isaac Fisher

In addition to the above listed players, the following were letter winners for the Hornets – Joe Angell, Tanner Arndt, Mason Hammer, Ethan Houselog, Nick Miller, Tyson Misegades, Marcus Sigman.
