Several Area Athletes have been named to the All-State Girls Basketball teams and have received All-State Academic honors.  Here is a list of those honored, listed by school in the various classes.

State Assistant Coach of the Year honors went to Michelle Borman of Perham.

Area Coaches who received Section Coach of the Year Honors in Girls Basketball include Mike Hepola of Henning (6A), Brian Korf of Pelican Rapids (8AA), Wendy Kohler of Alexandria (8AAA) and Jed Carlson of Moorhead (8AAAA).
