The Perham Gymnastics team placed second in the Class A State Gymnastics meet, scoring 144.925 points. Big Lake won the title with a score of 146.825. Watertown-Mayer took third with a 144.375 score. They were followed by Mankato West (144.150), Worthington (141.30), Pine Island (141.075), Willmar (139.90) and St. Paul Highland Park (131.325).
Jada Olsen earned the All-State Elite Award in Class A. Olsen won the All-Around with a score of 38.625 and took first on vault with a score of 9.825. Olsen was second on the uneven bars (9.65), third in floor exercise (9.70) and fifth on beam (9.45).
Perham’s other individual state competitors were Avery McAllister on vault and floor, and Kassidy Kovar on bars.
