The Vikings led 26-19 at halftime and increased their lead to 37-27 in the second half before the Pirates came storming back to pull within two points late in the game.  Pelican Rapids had many opportunities to add to their lead in the final minutes of play, however, they struggled from the free throw line making only 10-of-20 on the day.

Anna Stephenson led the Vikings with 17 and Greta Tollefson added 14.  Ryley Paulson was also in double figures with 10 points.

Crookston was led by Kasey Cwikla with 15.  Hayden Winjum and Gretchen Theis scored 10 points each.

Pelican Rapids (27-0) will play Hawley, the number one seed in the North half of 8AA, in a semifinal game on Wednesday at 6:00pm at Concordia College in Moorhead.

Crookston ends their season with a 21-7 record.
