Viking Girls Eliminate Barnesville in 8AA Playoffs

The Pelican Rapids girls’ basketball team opened the post season with a 50-39 home court victory over Barnesville on Thursday night.  The Vikings led 20-14 at the half.

Pelican placed three players in double figures, led by Maddie Guler with 22.  Greta Tollefson contributed 15 and Anna Stephenson had 11.

The Vikings (26-0) will now face Crookston at 2:45pm Saturday at Concordia College in Moorhead in a quarterfinal round game.
