Perham was led by 36 points from Finn Diggins.  Diggins also had 7 rebounds and 2 assists.  Elijah Morris added 23 points and 6 boards, and Charlie Rasmussen had a dozen points, 9 assists and 4 steals.

Leaders for Pelican Rapids were Logan Fahje with 18, McHale Korf with 9 and Liam Sytsma with 8.

“We were too slow and soft tonight to be able to compete with Perham,” stated Pelican Rapids Head Coach John Gullingsrud. “Defensively, we didn’t have an answer for Diggins and offensively we had a difficult time getting good looks at the basket.”

Perham (24-0) will try to put the finishing touches on a perfect regular season with a win at Pequot Lakes on Friday night.

The loss ended a seven game winning streak for the Vikings, who are now 17-8 overall.  They will play at Lake Park against the Raiders of Lake Park-Audubon on Friday night.
