Brandon-Evansville beat Hancock by a score of 54-37 in a high school boys’ basketball game on Thursday night.

“I thought we did a nice job defensively tonight in both halves, especially the second half,” said B-E Head Coach Trent Hintermeister. “We played 9 guys tonight and all of them played great, our bench was involved and an important part in this win. Offensively we had some nice stretches, but we can't afford to go on droughts like we did at times.”

Tanner Bitzan scored a team high 12 points for the Chargers.  Titus Fuller and Keagan Schiele each contributed 11 points.

Matt Thompson led Hancock with 12 points.

“Tomorrow is a big game in Browerville against a good team,” said Coach Hintermeister. “We need to be locked in right away.”

Brandon-Evansville has won four straight games and 8 of their last 9.  The Chargers are 16-7 on the season and will play a road game against Browerville/Eagle Valley on Friday night.
