Five Rebels Reach Double Figures in Win Over Barnesville

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton hit 50% (29-57) of their field goal attempts on Thursday night as they recorded an 81-64 Heart O’ Lakes Conference boys’ basketball victory.  The Rebels mad 41% (10-24) from beyond the arc.

Barnesville shot 44% (26-59) from the floor.  The Trojans were led by 21 points from Adam TonsfeldtKaden Zenzen finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds, making 7-of-8 shots on the night.

D-G-F was led by 18 points from Aiden Leach and Jacob StrandIan Mickelson added 14, while Drew Caldwell and Owen Leach each scored 13.

“They are a talented, quick, athletic team and they shoot the ball very well,” commented Barnesville Assistant Coach Tracy Hinsz.  “They played a great team game tonight.”

Barnesville (16-8, 6-6 HOL) is off until Friday, February 28 when they play at East Grand Forks.

D-G-F ends their regular season schedule with a record of 20-6 and finish HOL play with a record of 9-3, taking runner-up honors to Perham.
