Rochester shot the lights out, making 56.7% (38-67) of their field goal attempts on the day. Jerome Cunningham poured in a game high 28 points on 13-of-19 shooting. Devin Melzer came off the bench to score 21 points and gather 9 rebounds. Ben Jackson made all 7 of his shots and finished with 15, and Kong Kong put up a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Keonte Williams led the team with 5 assists.
Nic Pearson scored 16 to lead M State. Zakaria Zaid led with 5 rebounds. Alex Hendricks and Renell Edwards added 9 and 8 points, respectively, coming off the bench.
M State (8-17, 2-10 MCAC South) has two games remaining, both at home. They will face St. Cloud Technical and Community College on Wednesday night and will host Ridgewater College on Saturday afternoon.
