The Wadena-Deer Creek girls’ basketball team took a 47-40 victory in Pillager over the Huskies on Tuesday night, improving their season record to 14-10.
Madison Carsten converted 12-of-13 free throws and made a trio of 3-point shots on the way to a game high 24 points for the Wolverines.
Emma Schmit led Pillager with 15 points, making 6-of-8 from the foul line.
