B-E held a 29-18 lead at the half, but LPGE out-scored the Chargers 33-28 over the final eighteen minutes of play.
“We hung on late to preserve a much needed win after surrendering a big lead in the 2nd half,” stated B-E Head Coach Zach Traphagen. “Although getting the win is great, we know that we need to find a much more steady level of consistency in our play as we gear up for the playoffs.”
Mikenna Pattrin (16 points, 12 rebounds) led the way with a double-double, while Brittany Korkowski contributed 15 points, 7 rebounds and a team high 3 steals. Kristen Kokett chipped in with 7 points and 4 assists, and Bailey Schaefer added 7 points and 6 rebounds. Haddey Zastrow distributed 3 assists and pulled down 4 rebounds.
Brandon-Evansville (13-9) will go to Fergus Falls to face Hillcrest Lutheran Academy on Monday night.
