“Solid win on the road for our guys tonight,” said Head Coach John Gullingsrud of the Vikings. “We had a hard time making outside shots against their zone but we were still able to figure out a way to be effective on offense as we attacked the paint more and finished some shots inside. Overall we had good effort on the defensive end after we gave them some open looks to start the game.” 

Jayden Rutherford led the way with 14 points.  Logan Fahje and McHale Korf added 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Leaders for Hawley were Mason Gratton with 14 and Brady Gratton with 14.

Pelican Rapids (13-7) will face Park Christian in Moorhead on Saturday, while Hawley (4-12) takes on Warroad at 2:30pm Saturday at Moorhead High School.
