“We played solid defense the whole night, but then we would give up an offensive rebound and CGB was able to capitalize on those multiple second chance opportunities,” stated Hillcrest Head Coach Hannah Clark.  “Mackenzie Foss had another dominant night on offense and Madi Foss shot the ball really well for us, coming off the bench. These girls continue to work hard and the improvement from the beginning of the year till now has been really fun to watch.”

Mackenzie Foss led the lady Comets with 22 points, making 10-of-15 free throws in the game.  Madi Foss added a dozen and Anna Rasmussen had a team high 5 rebounds.

C-G-B was led by Reanna Ward with 18 points and Emily Kleindl with 11.

Hillcrest will play at Underwood on Tuesday and will host Rothsay on Thursday.

C-G-B will host Ortonville on Thursday and will play Pelican Rapids at UM-Morris on Saturday night.
