The Fergus Falls girls' hockey team received the number two seed in Section 6A. The Otters, and number one seed Willmar, will get first round byes and will open play on Tuesday, February 11 in the Section Semifinals. Fergus Falls will host the winner of #3 seed River Lakes and #6 seed Morris/Benson Area.
Fergus Falls (11-14) put themselves in position to earn the second seed with a 5-2 road win over River Lakes (14-10-1) in the final game of the regular season on Thursday, January 30.
The Section 6A championship game will be played at the Community Arena in Fergus Falls on Thursday, February 13.
