The Henning boys’ basketball team took command early in their game with Pillager on Thursday night as they built a 55-23 halftime advantage on the way to an 83-46 win.

“We played another very complete game tonight in front of a nice crowd,” commented Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “We competed defensively, got the tempo going in our favor, got to the basket consistently, and knocked down some perimeter shots.”

Henning was hot from the field, making 63% (36-57) of their field goal attempts, 73% (30-41) of their two’s.  Isaac Fischer led the way with 24 points, Blake Wallevand had 23 and Parker Fraki finished with 20.  Fraki led in rebounds with 8 and steals with 6, while dishing out 5 assists.  Wallevand had a team high 6 assists and came up with 4 steals.  Fisher contributed 5 assists.

Henning (17-1) has won ten straight games.  They will play at Sebeka on Tuesday night.
