The Ashby Arrows Boys Basketball Team experienced their second defeat in two nights losing at New York Mills on Tuesday night.  The Arrows had a slim 33-31 lead at halftime over the Eagles, however, New York Mills finished with a 72-61 victory.

Jaden Norby led the Arrows with a 24 point and 14 rebound double-double.  Torin Olson was the only other Arrow in double figures netting 13 points.  Hunter Norby and Noah Johnson each contributed eight.  Derrek Bartz had five points and Carter Spangler completed the scoring with a three point basket.

New York Mills was led by Jonah Johnson's 24 and Tate Olson's 20 points.  Breck Hensch also reached double figures with 12 points.

“We didn't take care of the ball well committing 23 turnovers and missed several quick 3 point shot attempts that turned into transition baskets for the Eagles,” said Ashby Head Coach John Holsten.  “We've been too easy to guard the last couple games.”
The Arrows overall record falls to 11-5.  They have a Little Eight Conference home game Friday with Hillcrest Lutheran Academy.

New York Mills (10-4) will host Wadena-Deer Creek on Thursday.
