Frazee Girls Come From Behind to Beat Wadena-Deer Creek

The Frazee girls’ basketball team overcame a 27-20 halftime deficit to beat Wadena-Deer Creek 44-43 on Friday night, holding the Wolverines to 16 second half points.

Paige Ziegler and Dani Piche led Frazee with 13 and 11 points, respectively.

The Wolverines were paced by 13 points from Kennedy Gravelle and a dozen from Madison Carsten.

Frazee (9-8) will play at Breckenridge on Thursday, while Wadena-Deer Creek (9-8) faces Parkers Prairie on Tuesday night in Wadena.
